Today I’m going to write a few words about Doris Day (it’s a shame, if you don’t know this name). Later she decided to have her TV shows. Even now being an old woman she can be of real interest for her fans and just people, who like such personalities. In 2006 she recorded a commentaries for her DVD (a fifth collection of her TV shows). But it is always interesting to listen to voices of such people. Besides, he is an American rapper, who became popular not only due to his music, but also philanthropy. Two years ago he sang on DJ Shadow’s “The Outsider” in one track, where he commented on the tragedies of that horrible Hurricane Katrina. Later he was awarded a Visionary Award by the National Black Caucus of the State Legislature which recognized his work after that hurricane. David Banner is not that famous as, e.g. Sean Paul or Ying Yang Twins, but he also managed to release a few albums. For example, his first album “Mississippi” released in 2003 charted Number 9 in US, but only half a million of its copies were sold. David Banner’s another commercial album “Certified” released in 2005 was sold a little bit better. Fatman Scoop (known also as Isaac Freeman III) was born in New York. He started his career as a hip-hop singer in 2003 and is still active. Besides, he is African-American hip-hop promoter and singer and in 2005 he was even nominated Grammy Award for Best Rap Song (I mean the song “Lose Control” with Missy Elliott and Ciara). By the way, he has also his own pod-cast. Fatman Scoop released his solo album this year - “Fatman Scoop Presents People on Earth”. Besides, he collaborated with a great number of hip-hop, rap and other music styles singers (there is a long list of them, which can be expanded, among them are Elephant Man, Pitbull, Busta Rhymes, Sean Paul, Ying Yang Twins and many others, this was just a list of my favourite singers). Fatman Scoop is known for his rough voice which is a little bit similar to Busta Rymes’ and Ying Yang Twins’ voices (and for a hip-hopper such a voice is of a real value). His song “Be Faithful” (which also includes a few samples of Jay-Z, Faith Evans and Black Sheep) became extremely popular in 2003 in the United Kingdom (reached number one in charts) and Ireland, it even managed to belong to Top 5 in Australia in the second part of 2003. I’m sure that almost every person in this world at least once has heard something about Ali G Actually, satirical fictional character’s real name is Alistair Leslie Graham - Ali G ist just the abbreviation made from the first three letters of “Alistair” and the first letter from “Graham”. In reality, Ali G is the second fictional character of English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen. The first one was Borat (also known at least for most of Britains). Ali G is Rastafarian by religion, ethnicity of Ali G is very confusing (maybe, he is Jewish or Greek, maybe - Anglo-Saxon, British Asian or even mixed-race). Ali G is to some extent a parody on a person of Jamaican and African-American culture, who is fond of reggae and hip-hop. He is completely intolerant to almost all people, he is extremely offensive and rude, has dull sense of humor (or just his behaviour can be considered as incredibly dull). It seems (or even is evident) that Ali G has no ethics principles at all. I’m sure that it would be unnecessary to explain who is 50 Cent, but it would be not redundant to write a few words about his career. First of all, his real name is Curtis James Jackson III (I’m almost convinced that 50 percent of his fans don’t know this - I also belong to that group of fans ). I still remember that time, when he became really popular, having released his album “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” (it’s cover was really unique and sure out of the common - smashed (or broken with a gun shot) glass - “death tryin’”, so to say). The song “Hate It Or Love It” was originally from rapper The Game’s debut album - “Documentary”. It’s remix by G-Unit was included as a bonus track into the 50 Cent’s album “The Massacre” (2005). I’ve just listened to this remix and decided that it’s cool enough to be an mp3 ringtone for my cell phone today

I’ve just listened to the song “No Sleep Tonight” by pop rock band The Faders (it was a British rock band - originally from London - formed in 2004). It consisted of three girls: Molly Lorenne (former lead guitarist of the band, now is performing under the name “Molly McQueen”), Toy Valentine (bassist and keyboardist of the broken-up band, now she began some new project which also deals with music), Cherisse Osei (after break-up drummed for Swedish band Calaisa, but now - for Mika). The Faders’ first single, which they released in 2005 (that is “No Sleep Tonight”), reached Number 13 in the UK Singles Chart - really not bad The Faders had a few more singles except of “No Sleep Tonight”. Their “Jump”, released the same year, reached Number 21 in UK Singles Chart. “Whatever it takes” is also supposed to be rather good song, and their “Look At Me Now” was cancelled because of the split-up of the band. However, “No Sleep Tonight” mp3 Ringtone sounds like a real rock music
